NAC Real-Time Conversion Service - A Geocoding Solution for All Countries in The World

Here is the Universal Geocoding Solution for all web applications. Web sites now can obtain the geocode of every location on the planet, no matter whether the location has street address or not, as shown in the following steps:
  1. Subscribe NAC Real-Time Geo-Services Suite
  2. Add a new field called NAC onto your web form (usually below the field of Country) to receive the user input of his/her NAC (i.e. Universal Address). Remember to include the link http://nactag.info/map.asp?explain=yes&zoom=2 to NAC Locator for the field name of NAC. In case the user does not know his/her NAC, he/she can obtain it immediately there. Here is an example of such a web form.
  3. When the NAC is received by your server software, you can either save the NAC in your database or make a request to the conversion service as shown on NAC Conversion API document to convert NAC into lat/lon coordinates and store them in your database.
  4. Map the location with the NAC such as: http://nactag.info/default.asp?addr=8CRB Q90H
  5. Search business near a NAC such as http://nactag.info/default.asp?center=8CRB Q90H&keywords=PIZZA
  6. Directions between two NACs such as: http://nactag.info/default.asp?saddr=8CNJ Q8ZG&daddr=8CRB Q90H&travelmod=Driving
This service can help web sites to geocode locations in all countries in the world. Once you subscribe NAC real-Time Geo-Services Suite, you are authorized to use Natural Area Code (NAC) on your web applications provided that:
  • you keep subscribing this NAC Real-Time Geo-Services Suite,
  • you use this Real-Time NAC Conversion service to do all the conversions between NACs and geographic coordinates
  • you include a note on each user interface using the NAC: "NAC (i.e. Universal Address) is licensed by NAC Geographic Products Inc." If possible, with a link to http://www.nacgeo.com/nacsite/.
Since address databases always have errors and many countries do not have address systems yet, geocoding depending on address databases has a very limited geographic coverage. This problem has been solved thanks to Natural Area Codes (i.e Universal Addresses) that can uniquely specify any location in the world to the resolution of 30 meters with only eight characters (e.g. NAC: 8CRB Q90H - the front of the building of our previous office) and to the resolution of one meter with ten characters (e.g. NAC: HLLRW QSPZL - the front door of Einstein's House). The Universal Address can also be directly measured with all smartphones no matter where you are (beside a house, camping site, fishing spot, accident location, etc).

Due to wide availability of GPS and high resolution satellite image maps, the Universal Address has been a symbol of the digital and globalized era as it is highly efficient, language independent and complete in covering the entire world. Using a Universal Address instead of a street address to specify a location for mapping, local searching or navigation can
  • Save 80% time in inputting the location,
  • Avoid difficulties in inputting an address with foreign characters,
  • Eliminate the trouble of matching multiple locations or matching no location,
  • Make all locations in the world able to be uniquely specified.
You may try the GPS enhanced mobile version of http://nactag.info on your iPhone or download NACMaps for your Android, Blackberry and Palm's webOS handsets to get the Universal Address or use Universal Addresses to retrieve maps, make local business search or get the turn-by-turn driving/walking/biking directions.
