Our Mission

One World, One Address System!

We are unifying all address systems, all postal code systems, all area code systems, all geographic coordinate systems, all map grid systems and all property identifying systems in the world!

Current addresses are not available to the homes of 60% world population, language and culture depedent, long and inefficient, frequently missing, outdated and duplicated, poorly standardized and expensive to assign and maintain. Current postal codes are not defined in all countries, are not valid across borders, not available to individual houses and buildings and expensive to assign and maintain. Current geographic coordinates are long and difficult to remember and communicate, poorly standardardized in writing and geodetic datum depedent. There are also many other representations of areas and locations which are either inefficient or geographic coverage incomplete.

In 1994, Xinhang Shen, founder of NAC Geographic Products Inc., developed Natural Area Coding System to unify all representations of locations and areas with highly efficient, language indepedent, worldwide unique and geographic coverage complete Natural Area Codes (NACs). With NACs, all mail pieces can be automatically sorted from world level to final household mailboxes and transported in most optimised routes; all users of GPS navigation systems can save 80% of time in inputting destinations, avoid difficulty inputting addresses with unfamiliar foreign characters, eliminate errors from duplicated/outdated/missing/non-standard addresses, and enjoy navigation services to all locations in the world no matter whether they are in cities or rural areas, forests or deserts, lakes or oceans. With eight or ten character NACs (also called Universal Addresses), you are able to uniquely identify individual houses, buildings, doors, trees, manholes, fire hydrants, etc anywhere in the world such as NAC: H5Q2 R48Q for Eiffel Tower while NAC: H5 R4 for the City of Paris. With NAC, we human beings will really enter the era of using digital and global addresses.

You can look up your Universal Address on http://nactag.info which also provides NAC Enhanced Google Local Search and NAC powered driving directions services for desktop computers and wireless devices. They provide cross-nation turn-by-turn driving directions for all countries in the world. For more information about NAC, please see http://www.nacgeo.com/nacsite/.

Next Generation of Internet Search Engines
February 19, 2004 - Toronto, ON - NAC Geographic Products (NACGEO) and Metamend today announced that the two companies have reached an agreement in an Internet search engine service. According to the agreement, Metamend is to optimize the meta tags and add a new meta tag to every web page of its clients and submit them to the database of NACGEO's Mobile Location Based Services Network (MLBS.NET). The new meta tag called NAC (Natural Area Code) tag (e.g. <meta name="NAC" content="8CNJ Q8ZG">) adds a new layer of power - location as a search variable that will enable Internet search engines to make accurate location based searches. A NAC tag will specify the exact location of a business anywhere in the world to a resolution of 30 meters for an eight character NAC and one meter for a ten character NAC. An eight or ten character NAC is also called a Universal Address because it can unique specify every building, house or other fixed object in the world. Universal Addresses can be directly measured and navigated by GPS receivers, and pinpointed on all maps with Universal Map Grids. The short high resolution Universal Addresses can be included on yellow pages, travel directories and business cards. The NAC tag not only makes location based searches possible, but also turns a keyword matching search into an accurate location based search. This greatly simplifies and speeds any location based search, compared with the algorithm that computes and compares distances. See Press Release on Feb. 19, 2004

Free Mapping/Tracking Service for Web Sites
We have introduced a new free mapping service for all web sites on the Internet. All web sites can have interactive maps with our base maps and map layers of their data. If you have a web site and want to be enhanced with interactive maps, this is the choice for you. You can have as many map layers as you want and each map layers can have texts, labels, symbols, images, hyperlinks, polylines, polygons, etc. If your data are dynamic such as real time vehicle positions, you can also refresh the data in a frequency you can specify that can be as high as once per second. There are no limites how many vehicles you are tracking simultaneously. You can complete an implementation of the solution within five minutes. Compared with Map Quest's map, this service has many significant advantages:

  1. Mapping a veriety of many different map objects: symbols, labels, images, texts, polylines, polygons, circles, etc;
  2. Hyperlinks can be freely embeded on any mapped objects;
  3. Mapped objects can be arranged into any number of map layers that can be freely switched on/off by readers;
  4. Mapped data can be dynamic real time data and can be freshed automatically and periodically with frequecies as high as once per second;
  5. There are many different map servers, map themes and map layers for slection;
  6. Simultaneous display of lon/lat, UTM and NAC for the cursor location;
  7. Display of geomagnetic declination, inclination and intensity of the cursor location;
  8. The coverage is the entire world;
  9. The service is completely free.
